Training

Training Our Team Has Completed

HIPAA privacy training

This one is about protecting patient health information, which comes up any time we’re carrying prescriptions, specimens or records with a patient’s name on them.

OSHA safety training

It covers the workplace safety rules that apply in the hospitals, clinics and labs where our pickups and drop-offs happen.

Bloodborne pathogens training

We’ve been trained to handle blood and other potentially infectious materials safely, including what to do if a container leaks.

Business Associate Agreements

If your organization requires a Business Associate Agreement for our work, let us know. We’ll sign one before deliveries begin.

Equipment

What We Bring on Our Runs

Coolers

We carry coolers for deliveries that need to stay cool, once we’ve confirmed the temperature requirements with you.

Gloves

We keep gloves on hand for handling specimens and anything else that calls for them.

Spill kits

If something leaks on the way, we have what we need to contain it and clean it up.

Handling Is Agreed Before We Accept a Delivery

We don’t accept a delivery until we know what handling it needs. If an item calls for special handling or has to stay at a certain temperature, we’ll go over it with you first, and if it’s something we can’t do, we’ll tell you so you can make other plans.
